Cibola defensive back Blair Manley committed to play football for UNM over the weekend.

Manley plays receiver and cornerback for Cibola, but UNM will use him as a defensive back.

The 6'1", 185 pound Manley said his sister is a UNM student and that family had a lot to do with his decision.

"It's hometown. I feel like I can go over there and start as a true freshman. I like the coaches and have a great experience every time I go over there to visit," Manley said.

"I just told him I would love to see him in the cherry and silver," Cibola head coach Rod Williams said. "I wanted him to do what's best for him and his family, but I would love to see him playing there."
