Santa Fe police are asking anyone who witnessed anything on the 1100 block of E. Alameda the night of August 14 to come forward with information they may have about the murder of 45-year-old Diego Sena.

Police say callers can remain anonymous.

57-year-old Edwin Watters was charged with an open count of murder August 15 in the alleged killing of Sena, who was one of Watters' employees. Watters allegedly admitted to killing Sena.

The men were apparently remodeling a home that belonged to Sena's niece when the incident occurred.

Officers found Sena unconscious, bleeding and not breathing in the back yard of the home. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Police say detectives are trying to piece together what happened and any details could help.

People with information are asked to contact Santa Fe Police Detective Tony Trujillo at (505) 955-5067.
