A shelter-in-place order was lifted at Highland High School after a suspicious item investigation on Thursday morning.

According to Albuquerque Public Schools spokeswoman Monica Armenta, a water bottle containing an unidentified liquid was found around 9:30 a.m. outside Figge Hall.

The Albuquerque Police Bomb Squad secured the item and determined it was not a threat.
