Arson investigation yields person of interest
Fire marshals suspect arson is behind several fires in WillardThe state fire marshal's office has identified a person of interest in a string of arsons around Willard in Torrance County.
In March, we reported how the fire marshal's office was interviewing current and former Willard volunteer firefighters about eight arsons.
The state fire marshal is not saying if the person of interest is or was a firefighter.
He says the case will be handed over to the DA's office which will decide whether or not to file charges.
