Solar-powered drone maker Titan Aerospace was based out of Moriarty. Then in 2014, Google bought the company and moved it to California.

The Washington Post reports Google’s parent company is scaling back its program to deliver internet by drone, so they've disbanded the Titan team.

Dozens of employees have been reassigned to other projects.
