ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- National Signing Day is Wednesday, and the top goalie in the state will stay close to home.

La Cueva's Anthony Munoz committed to play for the University of New Mexico. The senior holds school records for career shutouts and shutouts in a season, and his career goals-against average is 0.7.

In other sports news, Valencia High School hired Miyamura's Wesley Shank to take over as football coach. Shank led the Patriots to the postseason last year.
