ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The La Cueva High School girls soccer team is one of the tops in Class 6A once again. The Bears will get the one or two seed at state when the bracket is announced.

They haven't lost since August. Over the last month and a half, they've outscored the competition 42-3.

"This is a really successful team, especially because our defense is so solid and with Kat [Robinson] in goal," La Cueva coach Amber Ashcraft said. "She's only had two goals against her this season."

"Especially with the amount of seniors we have, I think that we're definitely a team to beat," Robinson added. "We're gunning out for the first seed or the second seed and doing as best we can at state."
