NEW MEXICO HIGH SCHOOLS AIDING HARVEY RELIEF EFFORT

The devastating floods in Houston have people all over the country rallying to contribute and help. Houston basketball coach Kelvin Sampson spearheaded an effort to get colleges from all over the country to donate shirts to those in need.

One Albuquerque high school is joining in the effort. Eldorado High School put together a package of around 100 shirts for those displaced because of the floods. Las Cruces High School has done the same thing.

"We need to come together as a community, as a country and help the people of Houston," Eldorado's Yvonne Sanchez said.
