His earliest memories of the weather start right here in the Land of Enchantment.  He remembers being fascinated by the broad range of weather in New Mexico: from the pure winter snow atop Ski Apache in Ruidoso, to the refreshing summer Monsoon rain traveling through Albuquerque and Santa Fe.  Little did he know when he grew up, his career would bring him here to KOB-TV in September 2010 – the best move of his life. Here, Eddie feels connected to the people of New Mexico, the culture and the breath-taking natural beauty.

Eddie loves hiking in the Sandias, soaking in the natural springs in T or C and enjoying the amazing food in Santa Fe - not to mention his passion for camping and hitting the ski resorts during the winter. Eddie’s education in Meteorology is from Mississippi State University, as well as his education in Journalism from The University of Texas of The Permian Basin. Experience has been his best teacher over the past 15 years working with some of the best meteorologists in the business and studying weather first-hand out in the field. Eddie is humbled to forecast the weather for New Mexico and is proud to work side-by-side with the finest weather team in New Mexico.
