Artesia Police investigate two burglaries in two days

ARTESIA, N.M. – Police in Artesia are investigating two commercial burglaries in two days. 


The first happened early Tuesday morning at the Dollar General Store in the Abo Shopping Center. Police say cigarettes and cell phones were stolen and that considerable damage was done to the business.

The other burglary occurred early Wednesday morning at the Plains Welding Supply. Police say the suspect(s) forced their way in, stole cash and left a wake of damage.

According to authorities, a dark-colored truck is associated with this incident.
