Boil water advisory issued for Rio Arriba County

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Residents living in the area of Vallecitos in Rio Arriba County may have to start boiling their water.

The state has issued a boil water advisory for anyone who gets their water from the Vallecitos Mutual Domestic Water Consumers Association, after state officials say E-coli was found in some drinking water samples.

If you’re one of those water users, the state is recommending you boil your water for one minute before using it.
