Charges dismissed for two teens after school shooting threat

SANTA FE, N.M. -- Two of the three teens accused of being behind a shooting threat at Santa Fe High School are off the hook for now.

According to the district attorney's office, Judge Mary Marlow Summers dismissed the felony conspiracy charges against the two juveniles. Both teens were released from custody Tuesday.

The person who police believe wrote a hit list of students and teachers remains in juvenile custody. That teen faces several charges including engaging in terrorist activity.

THREAT MADE IN DEMING

DEMING, N.M. -- Extra police officers will be on Deming school campuses for the rest of the week after someone made threats on social media. School officials say classes will remain in session on a regular schedule. Police are still investigating who was behind the threats.
