City worker finds what appears to be human skull

ROSWELL, N.M. -- A Roswell city worker has discovered what is believed to be a human skull.  It was found Friday afternoon next to a water pump station at Cahoon Park near Union Avenue and Riverside Drive.

Roswell Police say the skull appeared to be fairly old and not related to any recent incidents. The skull will be sent to the state medical investigator in Albuquerque for confirmation of its authenticity.
