ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The nation is mourning the loss of another World War II hero.

Navajo Code Talker George B. Willie Sr. passed away on Tuesday. He was 92.

Willie served in the Marines from 1943 to 1946. He and his fellow Code Talkers helped turned the tide of the war by developing a code based on the Navajo Language that stumped the Japanese.
