FARMINGTON, N.M. -- Police say they need the public's help identifying a homicide victim.

Officers say the body of a woman was found in a park on Glade Lane near Airport Drive in Farmington just after 7 a.m. Sunday morning. They say signs of foul play were present.

According to police, the victim is Native American of average height and stature. She doesn't have any tattoos or scars, so police are hoping some of her clothes might help identify her.

Police say she was wearing black skater-style Nike shoes with pink swooshes, along with a black and white striped scarf. They say her nail polish is also worth noting; it was a black base with purple glitter.

If you know anything that could help police identify this woman, call San Juan County Crime Stoppers at (505) 334-TIPS.
