SANTA FE, N.M. -- A former New Mexico official has made another trip to jail.

Santa Fe County deputies say Jerome Block Jr. was located at the Life Healing Center off Old Las Vegas Highway and booked into jail for burglary. Block, a former Public Regulation Commission member, is accused of breaking into a condo managed by his mother.

Deputies say they received an anonymous tip about Block's location and they apprehended him without incident.

Block resigned from the PRC in 2011 after pleading guilty to charges that included fraudulent use of a state credit card, embezzlement, and election law violations.
