Dadrianne White told KOB that Jal City Manager Bob Gallagher repeatedly sent her lewd text messages over a span of two years.

Following KOB's story, Gallagher sent emails to Chris Ramirez admitting to sending those text messages.

Wednesday in a statement to the Associated Press, Gallagher said the text messages were “legal and consensual” and denied any harassment allegations.

Gallagher also called his accuser a “willing, greedy accomplice” working with a Jal resident who is angry about a disposal well that was ruled out of compliance.

Gallagher told the Associated Press that he has apologized to his wife and family.
