NMSP: Separate crashes end in multiple fatalies on Friday Web Staff

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – State police say a man and woman are dead after separate deadly crashes in New Mexico on Friday.


On Highway 75 near Taos on Friday evening, Patrick Medina of Penasco was killed after police say he wasn’t wearing his seatbelt during a crash. His car, police say, ended up in the way of oncoming traffic, resulting in the collision. Medina was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Highway 180 near Buckhorn, state police say, a Utah woman was killed after veering onto oncoming traffic as well. Two other passengers in that car were hospitalized.
