CLOVIS, N.M. – It will be a while before the legal proceedings for the accused Clovis-Carter Library gunman come to a close.

The Eastern New Mexico News reports the public defender for 16-year-old Nathaniel Jouett said the case is huge, and gathering information alone will take months.

Jouett is facing two counts of murder as well as other charges as a result of the incident that killed two librarians and injured four others.
