SF police searching for machete-wielding attacker Web Staff

SANTA FE, N.M. – A manhunt is underway in the state's capital for the man police say attacked a homeless man with a machete.


According to the Santa Fe New Mexican, 31-year-old Wacey Chico from Mescalero is wanted for the attack. Investigators say the incident happened back in October at a park north of downtown Santa Fe.

Chico was reportedly wearing ski mask when he stabbed the homeless person, who was in a sleeping bag.
