Zozobra to burn in Santa Fe tonight Web Staff

Old Man Gloom will go up in flames tonight as the 92nd annual burning of Zozobra takes place in Santa Fe.


About 55,000 people are expected to show up to Fort Marcy park to watch the 50-foot marionette burn their troubles away. Before he's set on fire, you can write down your fears or frustrations and stuff it into Zozobra.

Gates open at 3 p.m. The official events begin at 7 p.m. with live entertainment and Zozobra will burn at 9:30, weather permitting.

To get there, the city is offering a shuttle service from various parking lots to a location near the event. Click here to find a map and ticket information.
