SANTA FE, N.M. -- It was a one-two punch in September. Hurricane Irma barreling into the Caribbean as a category five storm. It left a path of destruction behind, barely anything left standing in some areas.

Hurricane Maria followed weeks later, destroying anything that survived.

In all, the storms caused billions of dollars in damages, killing hundreds and leaving thousands without their homes. That's where Anita Schultz felt she could step in.
