ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – With so many new players and a first-year head coach, the Mountain West media members don’t expect much out of the Lobo men’s basketball team this year.

The preseason poll, released Wednesday, picks UNM to finish ninth in the conference. Nevada is the favorite to win the Mountain West.

No Lobos were picked for the All-Conference squad.

Paul Weir and Marvin Menzies used to work together in Las Cruces; now they will be coaching against each other in the Mountain West.

KOB’s Lobo Insider Lee Faria caught up with both of them in Las Vegas to discuss the upcoming season, their teams and the inevitability of facing each other for the first time.
