After camps, Weir says it's time to get to work

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Paul Weir’s Lobo basketball camps have come and gone, and now it’s time for the first-year head coach at UNM to fill out his roster.

Weir knows the focus is now on a team that needs to go out a produce and prove to Lobo fans that the UNM men’s basketball program can be successful and win games under his leadership.

“Just having a team camp and inviting the teams that we did and getting the numbers that we did is hopefully a good sign that people are interested in Lobo basketball, or just wanting to be a part of it,” Weir said. “It’s now our job to prove ourselves and make it work for those people to invest in us.”
