BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The New Mexico State Aggies are the class of the WAC Conference as they continue to win both at home (6-1) and on the road (6-1).

NMSU entered its game against Cal State Bakersfield Saturday coming off a huge victory over Grand Canyon, but they started slow before picking up the pace late in the first half.

The Aggies, led by Zach Lofton and his game-high 28 points, eventually won the battle 66-53 to move to 15-3 on the season.

They next return to Las Cruces to face Seattle University on Thursday.
