ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The 3-4 Lobos are on the road this weekend at Wyoming, and head coach Bob Davie says he plans to go with two quarterbacks again as New Mexico looks to jump-start its offense.

Lamar Jordan and Tevaka Tuioti will both get snaps against the Cowboys. Both played Friday in a shutout loss against Colorado State.

The circumstances of Saturday’s game will dictate who plays under center.

“You know, I think scheme dictates a little bit, score of the game dictates a little bit,” Davie said. “It’s not perfect, but I think that’s where we are.”

Tuioti, a freshman on the team, says he does his best to be prepared for whenever it’s time for him to step on the turf.

“I’m just more comfortable whenever the coaches call me,” he said. “Whenever my number is called, I’m always prepared and every game day I look up to Lamar. He teaches me a lot.”
