The matchup between the Rams and Thundering Herd will start this year's slate of bowl games, which was set Sunday.

CSU and Marshall sport identical 7-5 records for the season, and they will be facing off for the first time ever. Both teams have cooled off after hot starts to the season; the Rams started out 4-0 while the Herd went 6-1 in their first seven games.

While Marshall has never played in the Duke City, according to a press release, CSU is 22-14 all-time at Dreamstyle Stadium, including a pair of wins in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl.
