Lobo Insider: Lobos head to UTEP to face spiraling Miners

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Lobo men's basketball team snapped a four-game losing streak with a victory over Evansville on Wednesday night. Now they hit the road to face a team in turmoil at the University of Texas, El Paso.

The UTEP Miners are 1-6 on the year and didn't have a player hit a double-digit figure in points when they played New Mexico State Thursday night. On top of that, former head coach Tim Floyd decided it was time to retire following a loss to Lamar, adding to the team's issues.
