ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – After round two of the Women’s City Golf Championship, it’s a player from outside the country with an opportunity to win it all.

Emma Mesta-Garcia – a native of Torreon, Mexico who plays for Texas Rio Grande Valley – has a huge lead, having recorded one birdie and one bogey in Sunday’s action.

Mesta-Garcia sits at 2-under for the tourney. Her closest competitor is Stephanie Blount, who sits at 8-over.
