ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The stage is set for the Gildan New Mexico Bowl.

The Colorado State Rams will take on the Thundering Herd of Marshall on Dec. 16. Both teams will head into Dreamstyle Stadium field with 7-5 records, and both teams struggled down the stretch.

However, they have nothing but respect for the other.

"It's hard to match up against that receiver out there. They have done a tremendous job," Marshall head coach Doc Holliday said. "That quarterback has been tremendous, but I like our defense. They play extremely hard we'll see how it goes."

"[Marshall] had a dip last year, but was able to come back and right the ship; go to another bowl game and close to winning 10 again," added CSU coach Mike Bobo. "And they do it with defense."
