The Lobos improved to a program-best 10-0 record Wednesday night with a big 90-56 victory over Texas Tech at Dreamstyle Arena.

Cherise Beynon led all scorers, netting 21 points for the Lobos. She drained 10 field goals on the night. Tesha Buck also reached 20 points. Jaisa Nunn recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

UNM scored at least 20 points in the second, third and fourth quarters, including outpacing Texas Tech 29-17 in the final period.

The Lobos kept the Red Raiders to only one double-digit scorer as Brielle Blaire netted 10 points. They were 37.9 percent from the field on 25 of 66 shooting.

UNM went 33 for 76 on field goals, a 43.3 percent clip.

"The big thing tonight was our kids were really locked on defense, stuck to the plan and followed the plan," head coach Mike Bradbury said. "We really wanted to compete on the boards as hard as we could because we couldn't let them just kill us."
