LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- The New Mexico State Aggies are on the road this week at Arkansas. They are 2-2 on the year after last week's win over UTEP.

Running back Larry Rose III moved into second all-time in rushing yards at New Mexico State. He scored three touchdowns and is eighth all-time scoring at the school.

"I always joke with people because I'm like 'I don't know if I still got it,'" Rose said. "So it's always good to go out there and make plays like, people would say, the vintage Larry."

The Aggies haven't beaten a power five opponent since 2011. Head coach Doug Martin wants his team to be consistent.

"In the past, we've been able to play several games at a high level, and then we'd fall off for several games and get into a slump," he said. "That's what we've not done so far this year. Even though we lost two of the games, we played really well in four straight games."
