UNM tied for sixth at home golf invite; soccer teams also in action

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- After two rounds Friday, the New Mexico men's golf team sits in sixth place at the William H. Tucker Invitational at the UNM Championship Course.


UNM shot a team score of 592 and is tied with San Diego State. UNLV leads the field with Washington in second and BYU in third.

New Mexico State is 14th with a 608.

For UNM, Augustin Hole' shot a 145 through two rounds and is in seventh place. Sean Carlon had a 148, Andre Garcia fires a 148 while Andre Garcia, Galven Green and Ross Sinclair all carded a 150.

In other New Mexico sports action Friday, the UNM men's soccer team tied with South Carolina 2-2 while the Lobo women's soccer team defeated UNLV 2-1.
