The website NMFishbowl published an article saying head football coach Bob Davie was the subject of the investigation amid allegations of player mistreatment as well as allegations about the athlete drug testing process being compromised.

UNM spokesperson Cinnamon Blair said they would not comment on the details or the individuals involved until the investigation is complete. The school and Davie had no further comment.

The Lobos are at Boise State Thursday night on ESPN.
