Four Lobos were taken in the draft, led by Luis Gonzalez who is headed to Arizona where the White Sox train. Jack Zoellner and Tyler Stevens were also drafted

Two Aggies were picked. Daniel Johnson was selected by the Nationals and his teammate Marcel Renteria is going to National League East rival Mets.

The only New Mexico high school player picked was Trevor Rogers, who is going to the Marlins.
