UNM receiver also faring well on track

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- UNM spring football practice continued on Wednesday morning, and wide receiver Jay Griffen IV is working double time.

Griffen also runs track for the Lobos. He's ranked third in the Mountain West in the 200-meter event.

"I think track helps me work on my speed a lot and it keeps me at the speed I want to be at," he said. "And I feel like I can contribute to the track team, but football is my main concern."
