ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The Lobo football team will host UNLV this Friday night. UNM is 3-7 on the year and riding a five-game losing streak.

The program has not lived up to expectations this season and head coach Bob Davie is under investigation by the university.

Davie was asked if he ever thinks about how much longer he'll continue to coach.

"I think honestly when things are going bad, that's when the leadership is the most important," he said. "If you're only going to be that guy when it's going good, you're enthusiastic and happy to have the job you have, then you're pretty hollow as a person. You better be able to step up. I get paid a lot of money to do this. That's a fair question, but let us win [against] UNLV and I'll sign up for five more years."
