Free backpack giveaway Friday at Balloon Fiesta Park

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — This Friday afternoon, you can get a free backpack with school supplies for the upcoming year.

There will be 750 free backpacks given out 1-3 p.m. Friday at Balloon Fiesta Park. The backpacks will be filled with school supplies and given out in a contactless drive-thru giveaway.

Backpacks will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis and K-12 students are eligible to receive a backpack. However, they must be present in the vehicle to receive one.
