BCSO: Suspect shot by deputy in SW Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office says a Sunday morning shooting left one man hospitalized.
According to BCSO, deputies were called out to Tierra West Estates around 4 a.m. regarding a domestic dispute call between a man and a woman.
Upon arrival, a woman told deputies a man she knew was inside and armed.
Police say the man fired at least one shot toward them and a deputy returned fire, striking the suspect.
No deputies were injured. No word on the condition of the suspect.
