Clovis police investigate fatal shooting

CLOVIS, N.M. — Clovis police are investigating a suspected homicide.
Clovis police officers responded to the 900 block of Edwards Street around 4:36 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers found Manuel Rodriguez, 43, with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. Rodriguez was rushed to a hospital in Lubbock, Texas, where he died of his wounds Thursday evening.
The case is still under investigation.
