ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The weather is cooperating for the second day of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Pilots got the green flag to fly around 6:30 a.m.

"This is just breathtaking. It's mind blowing. You've got to see this," said one Balloon Fiesta attendee.

"Oh my gosh it's like these pools of color lining up in big lines. I've never seen anything like it. And for them to be up in the air with the blue sky, it's just amazing," said another attendee.

Pilots initially received the green flag Saturday, however, most pilots decided to stay grounded because of low clouds and fog.

"About as frustrating as it gets. We had 38 ride balloons with 370 people standing the baskets for an hour, sitting on the ground," said balloon pilot Scott Appleman.

If you're unable to make it out to the event, you can watch it on KOB.com.
