1 dead, 1 injured in shooting on Albuquerque's West Side

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- One person is dead and another was being treated for injuries after a shooting at 57th and Central. 

A man who lives in the neighborhood said around 7 p.m. he heard one gunshot, followed by three more gunshots that were rapidly fired. 


Police said a man was killed in the shooting, and woman was taken to UNM Hospital. She is reportedly in critical condition.

Police have not released details about the shooting, or whether any suspects are in custody.
