Man killed at apartment complex in SW Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A man died after being shot at the Sandia Valley Apartments Sunday night.

According to Albuquerque police, they found a man with a gunshot wound when they responded to the apartment complex in the area of Bridge and 86th Street. He was pronounced dead on scene.

Police said a second victim was later found at the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. That victim had fled the scene of the shooting prior to officers arriving. His identity is not being released at this time. 

No information about potential suspects has been released.

This was the second homicide in Albuquerque on Sunday. A man was killed downtown early Sunday morning.
