ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Albuquerque Bio Park Zoo held a gender reveal party for two new baby hyenas.

The twin hyenas named, Havoc and Ruckus, were born on August 8.

Hyena anatomy makes gender determination difficult. According to the zookeepers, a blood test is needed to verify the genders.

The new hyenas devoured pumpkins filled with colored pudding for the big reveal. Both Havoc and Ruckus are females.

Additionally, two new Tasmanian devils are now publically viewable at the Albuquerque Zoo. They arrived on November 1.

Albuquerque’s zoo is one of four in the country to host Tasmanian devils.
