AFR responds to overnight fire in SE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Albuquerque Fire Rescue was called out to an apartment fire around 1 a.m. in southeast Albuquerque.

The fire happened at 1024 Alvarado Dr. near Wilson Middle School.

Fire crews rescued one person and two dogs, and the person was taken to the hospital for their injuries.

Officials have not said how the fire started.
