School officials say the high school was locked down at 12:40 p.m. and that  Desert Star, Yucca Elementary and Mt. View Middle School are in shelter-in-place status. Police told school officials a man was reported walking near the press box with a holstered gun, walking east toward the concession stand.

The lockdown was lifted later in the afternoon.

A news release from the district is expected later today.
