ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Did an Albuquerque woman accused of killing her husband change her story in the time after his death?

Amy Herrera is on trial for the shooting death of her husband Marc at their home five years ago. It happened during a party they were throwing for foreign exchange students.

On Wednesday, the jury heard from Marc Herrera's former Air Force supervisor, Lt. Col. John O'Dell III. He described hearing two different versions of what happened from Amy Herrera, once after the shooting and again after Marc's funeral.

"The initial story is that Marc had committed suicide, and the story at the house was that Marc had forced her to shoot him," O'Dell said on the stand.

The trial is expected to last all week.
