A male victim died after being taken to the hospital. The condition of the second victim is unknown at this time.

While the investigation is ongoing, APD Officer Daren Deaguero said they believe the man shot the woman before turning the gun on himself around 2:30 p.m. Saturday. APD is treating the incident as an aggravated battery/suicide incident.

"We're in the preliminary investigation and piecing together what was going on with this whole thing," Deaguero said. "We don't know if it's domestic or if these two knew each other. We are trying to piece everything together right now."

On Sunday morning APD officials said they "detained one eyewitness and located surveillance video of the incident."
