APD: Man shot, killed in SE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating its third homicide this week.

Police say officers were dispatched to a shooting in the area of San Mateo and Gibson around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday night. Upon arrival, police say they found a man trying to put an unresponsive man inside a vehicle.

The unresponsive man was declared dead on scene. The other man had an arm injury and was detained. 

Police have not released their names at this time. The investigation is ongoing. 

There were two other homicides this week – one in southwest Albuquerque and another at Carlisle and Menaul
