APD: Man found dead at apartment complex in NW Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Albuquerque Police Department said several callers reported shots fired in northwest Albuquerque Wednesday evening.

Officers arrived at an apartment complex at 9250 Eagle Ranch Road around 4:30 p.m., where police said they received information that a man was shot numerous times through an apartment door and the offenders were seen running north through the apartment complex.

Police found the man inside an apartment and immediately started emergency medical assistance until Albuquerque Fire Rescue arrived and determined the man was beyond medical help. Police then initiated a homicide callout. 

The victim has not been identified yet. The investigation is ongoing.
